Bookmobile

The Bookmobile has been in operation since 1947. Since that time, growing communities have gradually replaced Bookmobile stops with branch library locations. Today, the Bookmobile still serves rural areas of Spartanburg County and visits local nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

• Over 3500 items are available on the Bookmobile including: fiction and non-fiction books, recorded books and DVDs for all ages. Special requests are always welcome.
• Items are checked out for 28 days.
• Library card registration and replacement cards are available.
• Library materials may be returned to the bookmobile or any branch.
• Maintains scheduled stops throughout the year
• Offers a seed library (seasonal)
