The Spartanburg County Public Libraries are sponsoring the 12th Annual Juried Exhibition that will be on display from August 13 – October 22, 2025. This competition is open to artists age 18 and older, professional or amateur, who reside in North Carolina or South Carolina. All work must be original and created within the past 5 years and not previously shown at the library (see the prospectus below for eligibility and requirements). Entries may be submitted through our online entry form below that will open June 1st and continue through June 30th.
Juror: Bethany Pipkin
Bethany Pipkin lives and works in Seneca, South Carolina. Her work relies on traditional methods of drawing and painting as well as new media, creating digital art and utilizing technologies such as the Scanning Electron Microscope. Much of her work deals with perception, memory, and other unseen wonders. Her work resides in public and private collections across the U.S. and has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Pipkin currently teaches Foundations, Drawing, and Painting, and serves as Foundations Program Coordinator for the South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University.
This fee covers 1 or 2 entries.
Payment is required to complete submission, either online or in-person within 2 days of completing form. In-person payments can be made via check, cash, money order, or credit card by visiting the Circulation Desk (Monday – Thursday 10:00am – 5:00pm) at the Headquarters Library.
