June, 2019 – August, 2019 – Area Census Offices open

August, 2019 – October, 2019 – Address Verification in Select Areas

October 1, 2019 – Proclamations from cities and Spartanburg County recognizing the Census
Including: Chesnee, Cowpens, Duncan, Landrum, Lyman, Pacolet, Reidville, Spartanburg, Wellford, and Woodruff

January and February, 2020 – libraries across Spartanburg County host History of Census and 2020 Census Information sessions on the Census.

February 11, 2020 – Andy Flynt, chair of the 2020 Spartanburg County Complete Count Committee, will host a question and answer session about what to expect when we receive Census questionnaires in March at Camp Croft Courts, 111 Hanover Place, Spartanburg from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

February 19, 2020 – Andy Flynt, chair of the 2020 Spartanburg County Complete Count Committee, will host a question and answer session about what to expect when we receive Census questionnaires in March at Texas Roadhouse in Spartanburg from 8:30 am – 9:30 am.

February 20, 2020 – Andy Flynt, chair of the 2020 Spartanburg County Complete Count Committee, will host a question and answer session about what to expect when we receive Census questionnaires in March at Northside Voyagers from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

March 1, 2020 – Census Questionnaire Phone Number Lines Open (no responses yet)

March 12, 2020 – Census Bureau begins mailing invitation postcards to residents across the County. Paper forms are hand delivered to households that do not receive mail service.

March 23, 2020 – Responses Begin & Continue Through July 2020

April 1, 2020 – Census Day

April 8 – April 16, 2020 – Reminder letters and paper forms mailed to those addresses that have not responded online or by telephone.

August 11, 2020 – Household visits begin to households that have not responded online, by telephone, or by paper form

September 3, 2020 – Group quarters and homeless counting are initiated

October 31, 2020 – Self-response ends

April 30, 2021 – Census Counts Delivered to the President
